Kathryn Bilharz Gabriel allows figures, mechanical structures, anatomical forms, and invented systems to emerge and disappear beneath accumulations of drawn and painted marks. Her work considers drawing as both a method of investigation and a record of presence where beauty, structure, memory, and disruption coexist.
